Photography is often sold “by the hour”, but I prefer to utilise a concept called “Value Based Pricing”. This is where the price is arranged based on what the client (that’s you!) wants. Clients are not interested if it takes 10 minutes or 10 hours to get the photographs they want. And if the aim, for that client, is one perfect photo and a 10″ x 8″ print of their newborn, then does it matter (to them) if they pay for 1 hour or 2 hours if the outcome is the same?
Likewise for a wedding; if the bride and groom want some great photos of their wedding ceremony and some reception shots, then the same theory applies. 4 hours or 10 hours…the outcome is likely to be the same. The amount of time it takes me to get that outcome is down to me and it takes the burden of watch watching off the client. So the pricing is based on your specific requirements, and is not pre-packaged into bundles. So please get in touch, state what you need (type of event, location, dates, and what you hope to get in terms of photographs), and we will deliver photography that fits your budget, whatever that budget may be.
